I was wondering...I was thrown off by the interesting trees and the Nova Scotia plates in the first picture.

Beautiful car....never heard a 1300 engine though...that has to be pretty rare nowadays.

You have a pretty keen eye there, young man!

The car is registered in Nova Scotia, Canada (where I came from).

The 1300 Junior is indeed a very rare car! There are probably no more than about 50 of the '68/'69 Roundtail 1300s left.

I wonder if a disportionate number came to Canada. I know of 1 in Ottawa and at least 2 in Toronto!

They were never imported into the US a new cars, but they were imported into Canada for about one year in between 1968 and 1969 (the Canadian versions have gauges that are in 'English' and are the ONLY 1300s with Left-Hand drive and English gauges).

Of the Canadian cars, my compatriot in Canada - George Beston - knows of about 5 - 10 cars left in Canada and the USA. On Wille Roos' Register, there are about 40 world-wide.

I figure there's probably another 10 to 20 hanging around somewhere, so that brings the total to about 60 or so remaining.

They are fun little cars!
