I picked this car up over month ago after a very time searching high and low in Ireland for one, and on the last day of searching I found this one in Dublin. One lady owner from new with only 52k miles on the clock. Car started and ran perfectly with no noises that where out of the ordinary. All it needed was a set of spark plugs and a Timing belts and a oil and oil filter change which it has all gotten and has been flying since.

It is a 1.4 TS Sport model with the Alfa lowering kit and the facelift with the Junior side skirts and alloys. I really do like this car. Very different to drive than my MKII Punto.

The engine and exhaust note are lovely between 2 and 3k revs there is a lovely induction sound and above that a nice rasp for what it only a 1.4 car at the end of the day.

It is a black/purple colour hard to describe but I love it.

Considering the age of the car there is a good few dents but the body work doesn't bother me really, I get all that sorted in good time as my dad is good friends with a panel beater and sprayer. Few scratches too but not particularly bad cinsidering it is a 7 year old that has lived in a city all of its life.

Here are the pics:

The car:

The Stereo install:

Which consists of

Head unit: Alpine 9855R
Amplifiers: JL Audio 300/2 Stereo AB amp V1.
JL Audio 500/1 Mono block Amp V1.

Speakers: Focal 165 K2 Power

Subwoofer: JL Audio 12W6V2 D4

Cabling: Stinger 0 Guage to the block distributor and 4 guage from there to the amps and Phoenix gold interconnects and cabling.

All comments welcome good and bad. Sorry for the bad pic quality they where taken with my camera phone.

Thanks for the welcome Modena.

I haven't had time to pop in with school but that is now finished so will be on here more often now. I am loving the Alfa ownership. Just have to get the oil leak fixed on it haha then is shall be mint haha it's got it's own Alfaness already.

Nothing like Alfa to drive though and I have driven a lot of Jap/German cars and the only car that comes close to the Alfa for character is my friends E34 520i.

the 146 is a well-known favorite drive of barely of-age, red-headed wankers of the Northern European variety. no, it's true, i read it. i believe everything i read. i wrote it down, AND i read it. so there.

good to see you again bro. i was beginning to give you up for having been abducted by a cult of gay hare krishnas. nice car. love the engine especially. i have a new obsession, a Giulia Super with a Twin Spark 2.0 liter engine. :) yeah, i know, i'm crazy. prolly why we get along so well, LOL.
