Hi, I replaced my multifunctional instrument with an equal one with an oil temperature scale in degrees centigrade. I would like to know the value of the resistance to be replaced in the circuit between temp. ° F and ° C many thanks

The resistance doesn't change nor the position of the needle.. It isn't that smart. The only thing that changes is the SCALE. One reads C and the other reads F just lijke a thermometer with one scale on one side and the other on the other side. If the needle is n't in the same position as the previous gauge it is because the gauge calibration has a variance between the two gauges.
