So when can I get one? No immediate hurry, but seeing as I put my hand up early...? Let me know. Thanks

PS. Did you receive your parcel at the hotel? I never heard any confirmation.

Hello Karl,

I just returned yesterday, and had a very busy day today. I did receive the seals, thank you very much!

Yes, you will receive a battery box and the Spica cover, early November.
Please send $75 deposit 'friends and family', or include the surcharge.

Kind regards, Alberto

Of course Geoff, and no need for the full amount. $75 will do. After shipping you will have the full amount quoted.

Unfortunately you are the last in line thus far, but we will accommodate all.

Kind regards,
Alberto

Today, we did a bit of a stress test with a 20lb. cinder block.
I am very satisfied...

This one is a slightly defective unit, so no worries!

Regards,
Alberto

PS. The following members have expressed interest, but no deposit.
I would urge you to do so, and not lose place in line.
Otherwise, the next shipment will be in January.

When you send mine, Alberto, please make sure it's like the one on the bottom. The one on top doesn't have an Alfa logo.

Sorry, Alberto. It's my Downunder sense of humour (or not). I was trying to say to send me the battery cover and make sure you don't send the brick by mistake.

I am kinda slow today Rob, but that is funny though :smile2:.

There are four boxes going to Australia, would it be less expensive to receive for you fellows,
in one AU location, and then divvy them up? I know you are huge country, we're only 31K Sq. Km...

I mention this, because to send all 4 together to Australia, will cost just a tad more than sending each separately.
Certainly, I can give you dimensions for the box, and you can figure it out.

Please tell me what you think.

G'day Alberto

I would be more than happy to relay the other three covers on for you. I'm sure it would save all four of us a few dollars. If you send me the dimensions I will confirm a price from Australia Post. Once that price is known you can do a cost comparison.

But please be careful NOT to send the bricks. The weight would then be a factor.

Have a happy day, Alberto

Hello Rob,
I will send you dimensions and weight.

Actually the blocks might work too, paint black, an Alfa sticker, well,
you could even buy it down in OZ! Save on shipping...

Great thinking, Alberto. Once I have the dimensions I can check them against a brick from the DIY store. Perhaps I'll be cancelling my order??????

Hello Rob,

Dimensions: 17" x 14" x 12" , leaving a generous 2" on all sides, for padding.
Real: 13 x 10 x 9
Thank you.

Kind regards, Alberto

Only an update, we are proceeding as planned, quite a few have been produced, will try to make all as required, so hang in there.

I am traveling November 9, so that weekend will be packing and labeling. Whoever will be behind me a USPS, will hate me.

Will start shipping the following week...

Regards, Alberto
