Hey Gang

Does anybody know the Ohm range from empty to full for the USA MIlano? I've searched lots of placing with no luck. The sender is part #25 in the microfiche. It fits in the big 17 gallon USA trunk mounted gas tank. The european twinspark Milanos have a different under the floor, gas tank.

Ciao

I don't have that data but perhaps this will lead you to an answer.

I have repaired the Milano sender but I don't recall the ohmic range. Its a pretty cool design that uses a column of fuel in a tube to dampen the output of the sender. The solder joints go bad and the repair is easy. You just re-solder them.

I did just repair a GTV6 fuel sender which uses the run of the mill wire wound resistor and wiper system. It was 0 Ohms full and 340 ohms empty. I had to clean up the wipers and resistor to make it work.

If you want to know what the range of the fuel gauge is you could hookup a 500 ohm potentiometer to the output and turn it up and down to see the gauges range.
