Been thinking of doing this upgrade for a bit since I have stiffer rear springs on the shelf, anyone with a used set to sell for less than new at $450? Have some time on my hands, not so much money.

Be aware that installing and adjusting 27 mm and bigger torsion bars is a PITA. The bar is a larger diameter than the splines so you cannot pull the bar through the A arms or the rear mount, you have to remove the A arms from the bar each time you make an adjustment then refit them and struggle to get the mounting bolts through the holes in the chassis rails. Then repeat it until it is right. If you drive on the track then it is worth the trouble.

Ah, that's right... which are the size below 27 that fit? That's probably what I should be after.

It has been a while since I messed with those things. I think that 25.4 mm is the largest that can be handled normally.
