Next week my mechanic is removing my gas tank (94 164Q) and it's being cleaned / coated.

It was suggested to me that if I could find a replacement fuel filler neck hose that I should get one. Just in case.

I have no idea if mine was replaced for recall purposes or not.

They're not easy to find. Yet I may need one (or not). ha ha

Any ideas?

Recall was in 96 not sure 94-95 24v models were affected but don't think so.

There is no recall tag on my 94LS for that change, but my 91S does have, so I assume it wasn't needed.

No they were not. Only early models. There should be no issues with the filler on your 24V and removing the tank is simple and should not cause an issue. Remove the 2 metal clamps at the bottom of the filler rubber hose and remove the metal tank inlet. Then remove tank.
