I need some guidance here...

My 69 GTV master brake cylinder needs to be rebuild in the off season. It is an ATE 22. I am not sure if it is the original type in the car. Years ago the car was converted to a single booster system.

Can you find these rebuild? I would like to buy a spare.

If I want to rebuild it which kit do I buy?

Anybody got one they want to sell?

When it was changed to a single booster did they also change the MC to a single unit? IMHO, a single circuit system is dangerous and not worth the decreased complexity. I have had no problems with my dual boosters in the 9 years that I've owned it.

If it is the original dual circuit MC, Ossodiseppia has a nice write up: http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/showthread.php?t=7848. There are two kits that you need from centerline to get all the right seals. Do a search and you will find the info. Rebuilding is not hard but if the MC bore is worn, it will need to be sleeved by a pro.

If you are looking at buying a rebuilt unit, check with Papajam - he may have a dual circuit MC.

I guess I should ask what's the problem that you think you need a rebuild?
