I just received two, overhauled MT32 starters for my Touring 2000. I had them done by “Rite Way” in San Francisco. They previously overhauled a generator for the same car. They are not cheap, but frankly, I distrust “cheap”.
Now for the interesting part.
He keeps a Brazilian Bosch solenoid in stock that fits our cars. $54 and change. I’d call that inexpensive in a good way. Also has bending/drive gear assemblies.
I’m also working on a source for MT42’s, but that’s about a month out.
I’ve been working with Jeff. Tell him I sent ya’.
