I just got a 1978 spider and am starting to get it to run correctly.
I've been reading a lot about the spika fuel injection in old forums.
I've read about the thermostatic accuator and found where it should be,
But instead I found a choke cable.
I'm guessing that this is one of the reasons it's running rich, idling high, and back firing when I let off the gas. Also maybe the reason the catalytic converter is not good.
Has anyone seen this before and is it common to replace the T/A with a manual choke
