Never ship anything you can’t easily replace. In my almost 30 years both in WA and CA I always went out of my way to find local sources for plating and polishing and upholstery. I always delivered and picked up because I’d rather be questioned on the cost vs. having to explain lost parts. My last nugget- always pay for the insurance! Who knows maybe that helps with the handling and maybe provides motivation for looking for it.

Mike... relax.. it will be found....BTW it is a SPRINT seat? with or without serpentine springs.. just some specs you need to clarify.. don't panic. just keep after them. I have never LOST anything. It will be found with proper docs and labeling.

The only thing I've ever had UPS lose are large, heavy parts. Sets of wheels have gone missing and never discovered. Insurance helps, but not everything is easily replaceable. Fingers crossed that your seat turns up! - Matt

I hope so. UPS started an investigation. It is a seat for a Giulietta Sprint. No idea if it has serpentine springs but the pic above with the frame without bolster seem to indicate no. It looks like a seat base (For my car painted blue), than the seat and backrest foam, then the white vinyl back, blue vinyl surround and cloth/ striped seat bottom and backrest cloth.
