Hey there Barry,
I'm a Hamilton Alfa owner (Bought my car from Doug by the way).
As a fellow Canadian, I share your pain, however, I have located some great sources. Are you still looking?
I know a couple of great mechanics in Woodbridge and Hamilton. Each of them has their sources. I was amazed at how cheap parts actually are, especially now that the Canadian Dollar rules and the guys are buying from the States.
