This tail lamp lens is peculiar, otherwise I would't bother. These wider tail lamps appeared on the 1971 USA spec 1750 GTV and were later used on all the 2000 GTVs. It is all red, like all the tail lamp lenses used for the US market. So what, you say. They are available new.

Now look better and note that it doesn't have a screw hole in the lower corner, and the reflector portion is wider. I don't remember where I got it, but my theory is that it is from a very early car. After some point Alfa figured out the screw arrangement didn't seal very well and added the screw in the corner. On the more common later tail lamps, the position where the screw was, at the right of the reflector, is used for a round date punch.

If it's any use to you, contact me. Only one available.
