I sent my flywheel off to be lightened and it appears the outside surface by the ring gear was machined so I can find no TDC mark or the location of the sensors. Machinist said there were no sensors on the flywheel but it came off an L Jet engine? Do any of you have an idea on how to locate the position of the sensors on the flywheel?

The original TDC mark (at the 16) was very shallow. But the location of the nib (at the 10) that triggers the sensor should be visible.

Did the machinist maintain the relationship between the clutch mounting surface & the friction surface?

Eric,
The surface where your tape is laying was lightly machined. The TDC mark is not visible but I think I see what is left of the sensor nub....

Pressure plate surface and friction surface untouched though. This flywheel may be useless for an L Jet now.....
