Hi All

I am in the final stages of assembly after the valves had a close encounter of the piston kind. The alternator belt frayed and got wrapped around the crank pulley and slipped the belts off.

Anyway, as I said it is almost all back together but I can't remember two things. How the starter motor is wired and how the coil is wired.

The coil has two white and one green wire. Do the whites go to negative or positive (green is opposite of that).

For the starter I have 2 large red wires plus a black wire (that leads straight to battery positive) that has a large 90 degree solid metal tab. They look as though they all would go to the same point (and that is the only part of the solenoid that has a loose nut) but then I can't work out how it is fired. See the pic below. It looks like there should be a wire with a spade connection but I can't seem to locate it.

Any help?

Cheers
Scott
