I do not hate my Duetto's fuse box. It has never given me trouble in 40 years of ownership. But yes, I changed all fuses once as a precaution for a few cents. About 12 years ago.

Installation requires no modifications to the harness and should take all of 15 minutes to install (ok, realistically an hour).

Hi Rich, this looks great! One additional question to Jay's:

- It appears that there's a single input & output spade connector for each fuse. With the original box, many of the fuses had multiple spade connectors (both inlet & outlet sides). I'm assuming spade splitters (or some other method) will be necessary to allow a single connection to the inlet / outlet side of each fuse - correct?

At present, no. In order to get 11&12 in the factory space I had to sacrifice the screw feature in the center. I'll either figure another way to attach the factory cover or make a new one. Either way it'll have a cover.

I've not seen any fuse busses that had multiple spades per fuse ( but Alfa never ceases to surprise me).
I believe the multi wire fuses had these piggyback style terminals.

If I'm wrong and there are multiple spade versions I don't see any reason we couldn't replicate it.

And, as for Jay's comment on the cover, I'm in the camp that it would really be ideal if the original cover (with the center thumb screw) fit - purely from an original OEM look perspective.

Applaud your effort, I have an orig bullet and a later blade one from a spider on the shelf for when I decide to wrap my feeble brain on this for the 67 Super. 71 Spider is in the same boat. This would save me the frustration of figuring it out, but Ill still try it first n circle back. Thanks for tackling this.

My fuse box from a 1972 GTV 2000 looks a lot more like what Rich is offering. I think this was original to the car. Note in the second pic you can see the part # 105.48.65.311.00. The parts manual lists the box and cover together as part # 105.12.65.030.00.

It originally had piggyback style connectors on many of the spades but I removed them with the harness. The other main difference compared to the one Mathcg has posted is that all the spade connections are on the back with just the fuses on the front.

I'm not too concerned about the original cover fitting. It seems like adapting Rich's design to work with the center screw cover would require giving up one or both of the middle fuses, thus making it a 10 fuse box. I'd rather have all 12 fuses in a single box.

A simpler solution for those who want a cover would either securing the original cover in a different manner or 3d printing a custom cover to fit the new box.

Ok, this is the earlier fuse buss that mounts in the engine bay, right? We haven't addressed this design but if there's enough interest we could...

The alternative would be to print a new cover. It wouldn't be an exact copy of the factory but unless you're laying under the car would it really need to be?

Hi Rich, yes I was definitely talking about an “earlier“ fuse box (which I mistakenly thought you were to)…. In any case, I would definitely be interested in an early version and would be ok with having to modify the cover if necessary.

you are right, it does not have to have original look completely, out of sight as long as there is no problem with a fuse.
