Should the front valance of a series 3 Junior have 2 or 4 openings? I've seen both. I know the later unificata/S4 Juniors definitely came with 4 as their whole front was identical to the 2000GTV. But the later valance fits to the earlier J.... However a user manual and some S3 brochures show 4 openings....but S3's were made from late 1970 to mid 1974. There is a possibility they changed to the 4-opening valance in 1971 when the 2000 came about... before they changed the grille/lights in 1974. What do you think? It's an expensive part so it is important not to make any mistakes!

in other words: if you have a series 3 Junior and you know your front valance has never been replaced I'd like to know how many breathing openings are in there!

My (originally 1600GT Junior) was manufactured December 1972 and has it's original valance, with 4 holes.
