Not many Alfas at Summit Point this weekend, but those that were there, sure stood out....

Big congratulations to Erich Stahlmann and his GTV6 for their weekend. He was placed in the Wyer cup which was basically the Porsche race - lots of 911s, 914-6s, etc. He qualified 2nd and finished 2nd in the Saturday sprint race, behind only the perennial winner (and local) Dave Coleman's 914-6. Then in Sunday's qualifying, he took the pole. Unfortunately, the Sunday race was rained out.

In the Marlboro Cup, Ceasar Cone in his Duetto was up to 2nd (of 40) when he retired with gearbox issues, but Ken Wild ended up 3rd overall in a Giulietta. Of note, this race included quite a number of Lotus (11s and 7s), several very fast Ginettas and even one Mr. Prather in his MGA.

Where were all the GTVs?

well, I suppose we could have had swamp buggy races in the paddock or something. What were we thinking?
