Is anybody selling the correct sending unit for the Jaeger Italia oil pressure gauge? I've been using a Stewart-Warner mechanical gauge for years in my Duetto, but I'd like to change back to the original gauge. The available Veglia unit won't work with my gauge, and I don't find the Jaeger sender offered for sale.

Check with Centerline. I think they have the correct sending unit for your Duetto.
Yea, I agree. There are two styles of sending units, and Centerline carries both. I had thought the distinction was early vs. late - not Veglia vs. Jaeger.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Centerline does have a unit for early Veglia, but I don't think it will work for me. The Jaeger gauge needs a resistance range of 0-360 ohms to read properly. Does anybody know the range of the Veglia sender?

I changed to a mechanical gauge probably 20 years ago after trying repeatedly to get the right sending unit and never finding it. Even so long ago, the only senders available were for Veglia gauges. There are probably some used units out there, but somehow buying something that is failure-prone and nearly fifty years old doesn't seem like a good plan.

I have three Jaeger oil pressure gauges and all read full scale correctly with 12 volts applied. The gauges apparently never went bad, but the senders do fail over time.

I'll give Centerline a call today to see if they can shed any more light on the situation.
