Hi guys,
I would like to restore my jack. It's an early type with the wooden knob on the handle. It works fine so I'm a little hesitant to take it apart but would like to have the body sandblasted and powder coated...I noticed after removing the top cap that the handle that drives the gears is pinged so the handle will not slide out.. not sure how the rest comes apart... any thoughts or suggestions on how to dissemble it would be great.. I'm not sure but I assume the wooden handle and top part of the jack that is aluminum are pressed on.
Thanks!
