I'm trying to verify if a car is a factory Veloce or a converted Normalle. The factory tag on the hood says so, but there is not a complete number on the firewall.

Are there any structural/construction differences between the Veloce and the Normalle bodies ?

Of course the engine (and all its peripheral equipment), the exhaust headers, (perhaps) the trans, the differential, the brakes, and the tachometer are different.

Is the rest of the car the same ?

The air intake inside the grill on the passenger side is different. You should be able to find good pictures with a search. Why is there not a complete VIN number on the firewall?

Thanks, I'll try to find some pics that would help.

Unknown reason for the incomplete VIN. The "AR1495" is there above the heater's vent hose, and nothing more, even with bright light and moisture.
