Hi all,

I'm considering buying a 1997 Alfa GTV6. The problem I'm having is that Ontario insurance quotes are useless! They don't even list our beloved cars. I never had this issue with my 75QV, because it was never registered nor insured - it was never road-worthy, we had to replace the timing belt but sold it before replacing the timing belt.

The GTV6 is going to be road-worthy, absolutely. But, telling an insurance company you want a 1997 Alfa Romeo GTV6 sends them running for the hills. :crying2:

Hi there!

This is a Euro spec 1997 GTV6 with the 3.0 Busso V6 powering the front wheels. It's actually imported from Japan, though... It was imported to Japan, then Canada, from Italy. I need insurance on it but living in Ontario, it's hard to get insurance at all!

Have you tried Silver Wheels they are a broker for Hagerty in Ontario.
