Did you offer to buy it for the FULL asking price? If so my mistake...................
I am in the auto transport business keep in mind on your asking price you have to ad transport expenses which cause the price to climb. I am not trying to be rude and I know you love your Alfa because all Alfa owners have some sort of attachment to their car. I can ask my brother and we can make an offer no low balling and I will let you know that is if you are still interested in selling.

Thanks
Van

New price: $1000

I'm not too concerned with who gets it now, I really need the space. Thanks for all of the interest.

Thanks Larry,

I didn't see a phone call for some reason. I'll give you a call back tomorrow.

Here are some current photos.

I appologize for the filtering. I have more photos to upload but it's not working right now for some reason. I will try again tomorrow.

Nothing wrong with the rear seats, the dent in the middle is just from something sitting in the back seat for a long time. It will go away I promise.

Still for sale?

hi there,

im in austin, tx and have a 94 ls auto with low oil pressure and a now noisy engine. give me a call if it is still available 512-584-5891. any time tomorrow. well after 9am california time. im thinking it would be easier to get this running correctly and cheaper with less time involved than to pull the engine in mine. also would love a 5 speed. or PM me.

Just to let you know you are too sentimental. Clearly these cars hold no value. And especially your car is really worth around 1000.00 for someone who really needs an engine. Plus we don't know if the timing belt has been serviced correctly or not. It's a big gamble to even invest even a thousand dollars on this car because if the engine is no good then you are stuck with a 1000.00 pile of metal. My brother tried to purchase the car from you for the engine you said no. I tried to purchase it from you and you asked too many un nessisary questions. Why would anyone try to restore a car like this to drive and spend all that money. And if you do i would suggest getting a pshyciatric check up. And why is the Alfa community glorifying this car and this thread. Why are you guys claiming you have caught a trophy fish wile the fish is still in the ocean. Alfa community needs help.
Sorry, but i find your post very offensive as well. I have seen that car before and it is in nice shape, honestly the only reason I dont want to buy it is that I dont have the money to get it back on the road, that doesn't mean it should be gone forever though. I see nothing wrong with someone wanting to keep it on the road rather than selling it to someone who intends to destroy it when there will never be any more made.

it is a pity that many so-called Alfa people continually diss the LS model, and try to keep the price low, as it is clearly one of Alfa's better models. I suspect these people just have no clue/idea of how great the car can be, or care, for their own reasons, even if it needs some work. Nothing can touch it for the price, even if money is spent making it perfect.

I've driven just about every consumer model of Alfa that has come into the US, plus a couple which didn't, or weren't supposed to be imported, lol. My conclusion is that these LS models are just great to drive, which is what it is all about, right? Mine is simply great to drive. I'd have to spend a bundle to come close with something else.

My own opinion, of course.

I am still interested. Let me see if I can pull it together and be able to come out to SJ to pick it up. I don't want to see this in parts. Looks like a good car and holds plenty of value to a true Alfisti!
