Hey, does anyone know a good alternative for the stock in tank strainer? Basically, mines destroyed! Im thinking along the lines of a wire gauze / foam arrangement for more longevity? Or would it need to me as fine as the original?

I would probably either not worry about replacing it or I would just add a second smaller inline filter in hose to existing fuel filter but before it if you can't find correct original 60523429 strainer.

thanks for the replies, I was already going with a second inline between the tank and pump, my concern in the tank is mainly preserving the pump impeller and protecting it from particles, the rest of the fuel system is already catered for
