The writer's strike and our move to the mountains of Lake Arrowhead have made it necessary for us to sell our 74 GTV restoration project.
This is a California car with no rust issues to speak of, but quite a bit of body work to be finished up.
THE GOOD:
Fresh complete engine rebuild by Santos. It's still in his shop, waiting to be
put back in the car! Should be in this next week.
Gearbox/drivetrain appears excellent. Shifts much better than my '84 spider ever did.
New master cylinder/brake booster by Santos.
Interior seats re-done by the upholstery shop next door to Santos. New carpet. New door panels. Interior is now black.

THE BAD:
Interior needs new headliner. Dash cap installed but could use a new dashtop for better restoration. (The shop next to Santos is now doing that for $200!!) Center console needs to be re-covered. ($75.00)
Needs tires.
The main issue is bodywork and paint.

We just made this decision yesterday. Haven't yet even thought about a price. This is just a "heads up" notice for anyone who is interested.

Right now looking at 15K. Probably put it on eBAY and just see what the buyers out there are thinking.....
