Hi everyone, I am new to the website, I have a 76 Alfa Spider my father bought brand new, love the car! My ignition switch went bad and smoke actually came out from the steering column just today, yes not good! I ordered a new switch from Centerline Alfa, they said make sure the ground wire is clean and grounded well under the hood. My question is do you know where they ground the wire from the switch on the 76? It's hard to trace underneath and I hate to start peeling tape of under the hood looking for a wire. I'd like a place to start. I found a few diagrams and it looks like one black wire goes to the key reminder switch. Thank you for the help.
