i was putting togeather my driver side suspenion, and....left the lower bump stop plate off..................now the next question, can i just unbolt the lower balljoint from the lower a-arm and installe it?, or do i need to de-compress the bloodie spring agian, thanks:confused:

De-compress the spring, it takes less time than having to learn how to use your hand in physical therapy.

My bad. Initialy I thought you talking about spring plate. (I should read slower) No you don't have to re-compress spring, just jack the car up under the lower a-arm and you can take the ball joint bolts loose and install plate!! That's a little easier!

Dan, i am not saying you might be right or wrong, but that spring makes me a little nervous, you understand?

Me too! but as long as you have the weight of the car on the lower control arm, you are ok. You can tell you are safe when the upper arm loses contact with it's rubber stop.
