Just got my new 71 Alfa GTV home. funny thing is it has minimal rust but in the expected places like the lower front wings and spare time well. It had some rust at the bottom of the front windshield and the cowl is pretty well rusted. BUT when I got the car home I took off the front cowl and discovered that the are below the wiper motor was so heavily rusted there was no material existing . Its a HUGE problem. What can I do? I bought the car as is. I can fabricate but this seems major. Are there existing clips of this part? Any recommendations ? I may just weld in some stock but it wont be correct. Any advise is welcome and very appreciated. :cursing::thumbdown:
