I have all the bolts removed, but it wont budge. Am I missing something here, or does it just need to be hammered off/ Dont want to damage anything here.
The pulley is a tight fit onto the tapered end of the camshaft. You need to buy/borrow/steal a puller. Or make your own with a hardware store plumbing fitting.
Look in the 164 section of the BB for one of Alfisto Steve's threads. I borrowed his idea of making the tool with a pipe flange. It just happened that the large bolt from my pittman arm puller fit the threads of the 1/2" pipe fitting. I drilled the holes in the flange to fit the three bolts in the pulley hub.
You just need to use a puller that bolts to the hub, and something to hold the pulley from turning. I used now discontinued harbor freight items for both.
