1968 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce
Hi everyone. I’m looking at having a pro replace the entire sills on an otherwise nice spider. Classic Alfa has provided all the parts needed to do this (very heavy parts!). As I think it through, I’m wondering ... Should the factory inner, middle and outer sills welded together and then offered up to the car as a unit, or are they welded to the car in sequence, first the inner, then the middle welded to the inner, and then the outer? I’m wondering what is the state of the art to achieve the best results. I want to be sure I understand what needs to be done. Thanks.
