I understand that I can’t remove the soft carb mounts until the inlet manifold is separated from the cylinder head, but the soft carb mounts interfere with the stud holding on the inlet manifold.

What do I do to disassemble this?

Dunno if it is part of the problem, but the head-manifold stud at the top/center of your pictures is much too long. Might the head have been used on a Spica car in the past? Spica manifolds require some studs to be longer than those on carbureted manfolds.

Once you have the manifold off, you might want to trim any excessively long studs.

I'm all done now, but yes, it was originally SPICA. Thanks for the info.
