I have an original tape player. Broken unfortunately (lcd display is bleeding).
This is what it looks like (someone else's pic, but mines the same):
I have heard that with other radios, you use a key down the side of the headset.
This one however doesn't seem to have any gaps. If I jostle the tape deck from behind the tape hole moves while the squares surrounding the knobs stay perfectly attached to the center console.
Any tips. Its an emergency: I have a 9 hour drive tomorrow!
