Hi,
I understand that you can get the history of your car's manufacture from Alfa. Can someone please enlighten me as to how this is done.

Cheers,
Wazza.

Wazza,

Email to "[email protected]" and Marco will reply (usually within a day or 2).

Needs the chassis number to determine ID.

Good Luck and don't forget to post the details here when you find out.

We all like to read up on stuff like this!

Cheers,

Paul.

History found..

Well Marco is on the ball and has already replied - "the chassis number AR 1451572 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce RHD (105.45), engine series AR 00548, manufactured on the 26th November 1968 and sold on the 27th November 1968 to J. Wright & Sons, Melbourne, Australia.
The body colour is hawthorn white, with black skai interiors. "

My car is still in that exact condition. I tracked down the car dealers - MW Motors (Murray Wright) who were the Alfa distributors for Victoria. They now sell Suzuki's - what a comedown. My car was originally registered as a 1969 model, but I don't know if there are any differences to the cars produced in '69. Pictures of my 105 attached.
