Simon is THE MAN!
Say it with me General - "Simon is THE MAN!!"

Simon made this BB a reality so that you could frolic in it. Where once there was no AlfaBB now there is. Why? Because Simon made it happen.

You can give anybody else **** and I'll laugh. You mess with Simon and you mess with me.

Don't make me go get my Mickey Mantle autographed Louisville slugger.

Peace, out.

Paradiso,

Thanks for the support but I cant really take all the credit for the site. Sniady and Anthony (Italcarguy) have alot to do with it and dont forget all of you guys. Without members the site would be boring.

And without a few highjacked threads and a little conflict...... Alright Paradiso, Simon is the man. Simon is the man. Simon is the man. Jorgen is my new good buddy. Simon is the man. Simon is the man. etc, etc, etceterini.

OK. Listen everybody...all that the "General" is doing is stirring the pot. Let's all just stop responding to him and just ignore his negativity. It is clear that what he is doing now is just 'baiting', and that's his issue, not any of ours.

By the way, this thread is supposed to be "how you found the AlfaBB", just in case the subject escaped us.

Cheers to you all!

PS: I just got back from my Group Therapy session, so I feel much more clear now.

a nyaroc club member sent out an email telling about this site which I have found invaluable.

I found my Alfa at the New Rochelle Porsche dealership - Par cars or rather I found it online parcars.com I always wanted a porsche, but not really in my budget and had a boyfriend YEARS ago with a little alfa he let me drive so I figured what better thing to do than get an Alfa that was in my budget (before I started the obsession...little did I know what would happen and how it would become the priority of my tax returns) So I went to the dealership and took Charlotte off thier hands.

Charlotte is the car is you were wondering...

Ooooooooookay. Soooooooooo. Anybody wanna see my Fordita Contouro?

Found the bb while frantically searching for more Alfa info. Found lots of great content sites, but this was the best (only?) english-language bb out there.

Nino, I've been wondering about your term "best man". Was TAKIS the "best man" at your wedding? Or is he your, as we say, best friend?

I still can't remember how I stumbled across AlfaBB almost a year ago. But when I did it was like the clouds parting and hearing angels sing.

That's what I meant Kai. TAKIS is my wedding's best man, my best friend and my "brother", because he is an Alfaholic too!!!
We met eachother from an add about Greek Alfaclub and from that time (1997) we became close friends. :D
