Anybody know if Highwood is still in business?
I believe the business was sold a while back and Chris Sweetapple is not with it anymore.
Several emails over several months and nothing.

Me too. I’ve sent a few emails over the last couple months and received no reply. It’s a shame - Chris was a great guy to work with.

Any updates on Highwood Alfa? I emailed an information request last week but got nothing back.

Has anybody actually ordered from them in recent memory? On one of their catalog pages, I see that the last update was November, 2018, over three years ago. They have several parts listed that I'd love to have, but I don't want to just send my order out into the ether.

I actually heard from them on November17.
They were closed due to Covid for quite some time.
I have not head back from them since but think the are actually open.
I think the only way to order parts is a phone call.
I will try that soon.

Mailed them several times no reply.
When I called, A gentleman named John ( if I remember correctly) answered and promised a reply which never came.

A while later tried again with same results.

Looks like they don't care for Alfa businesses any more, they should take their site down.

Switched to EB Spares instead.

I am reasonably confident they are no longer in business as I bought parts in July and did not receive them. Paid in full. Have been emailing and calling since. No response, no apologies, no offers to resolve the matter.
Their website remains active, so my advice to everyone is to be weary and do not use them any more.

Sorry to hear as Chris Sweetapple of Highwoods supplied me with a bunch of Berlina parts for a few cars over many years. He was friendly, helpful, and shipped to the States quickly.

I can confirm that Chris Sweetapple has in fact closed the business, as he went on retirement. He sold most of his stock to Classic Alfa. Classic Alfa has confirmed to me that they will list the 116 series cars on their website in the coming months. I always bought at Highwood as I own 105 and 116 series cars - very glad to see Classic Alfa will make it possible to do all my parts shopping at one supplier. I just bought my first parts from Classic Alfa for my Giulia and I can tell you, the service and speed was super.
