use a clear vinel hose, the type you get at ace hardware stores, place it between the oil/vapor sep. and the valve cover..... you can see any coolent in the oil sooner..:eek:.. just like checking under the oil cap..but easyer..:)

oh..well... :):) i thought it might work...wait.... i am useing the same clear vinel hose on the 1/8" vacumm lines for a year now...not cloaded or cracked..but yes, tifosi..diff. use it might yellow up and crack..lets see what happens...it only cost $1.75..:)

That's the tweak of it: the vac lines aren't getting hot oil vapor with all it's toxins and such pressure pumped through them.

They get vacuum and are pretty much stone cold when compared to the air in the crank breather hose and are certainly moving nothing but filtered, or at least fresh comparatively clean air.


Heck, your plan may work.

All I know it didn't when I tried it over a decade ago, but mabe things have changed in the way they make that tubing since then :shrug:

Certainly for the price it won't hurt to try.
