I have a Milano 2.5 with 59k original miles. I've been out of the loop on the Alfa market, but I'm curious as to what this car might be worth today. I would welcome any feedback or comments.

It was a survivor car that spent 17 years in storage. I've had it for about 5 years, during which time I've had the backend completely rebuilt, centerline headers installed, new headliner, etc. It has ANSA exhaust and upgraded rear suspension, but that and the headers are the only mods. Everything else is original. No rust, no rattles, no play in the shifter. Cold running is rough, but she's great once she warms up.

I've included one picture below. More can be found here:

Again, I'd value any input with regards to the current market for these cars. I brought a Ferrari 3 years ago and I'm afraid I haven't been paying much attention to Alfa since then (except I have my eye on the new Giulia).

Thanks for your help!

$500-20k. Really. Most Milanos sell for almost nothing but a really nice one recently sold on Bring a Trailer sold for $19500.
Yours seems very nice. If I was going to pay top dollar I'd want to see recent drive shaft work, no matter how low the miles rubber deteriorats with age and parts are getting hard to source. I'd also want to see a recent timing belt. The market is slim but it does exist. I don't know how much room is in the middle of the market, most cars either go dirt cheap or in the upper range. With a time capsule car like yours I'd prepare it and try for the top of the market, spend a little money and address the above items as well as the AC (if needed) and the rough running when cold.

Good luck with the sale.

Dandy Milano!

Love it... I'd say that given it's a 2.5, and it's a time capsule for sure, has low mileage, somewhere no lower than 5,500 and no higher than 8,000. It all depends on the buyer. It really is a wonderful looking Milano.

If that was a Verde in that shape... you'd be looking at low of 10k, high of 15...

Rob is right on the money. What hurts the value of this car is the poor condition of the upholstery. While you can find new Verde upholstery, the cloth for this car is, as far as I know, NLA.

I bought some regular Milano seat fabric from Re-Originals Inc. They still might have some. Their web site shows a picture of that fabric.

Do all window motors work? AC good? Timing belt and water pump have any history on it? No power steering leaks? If all those things are good I'd say $3500 to $5500. But since you say it runs rough when cold in Cali where I live I'd be afraid of failed emissions. So for me, I'd offer $2500 but then again I'm in a tough emissions sate.

I had a chance to see Justin's Milano on Saturday. It is a very nice example. No real issues at all, even the upholstery issue isn't that bad as the rest of the interior is very nice. Car has very good service records (saw the repair receipts with many line items and thousands of dollars on the "total" lines) including timing belt (2x), water pump and complete driveshaft rebuild.

Engine is very quiet (no ticking or belt/bearing noises), and the headers and Ansa exhaust look well installed and sound great. Overall a fantastic little car. If I had the money I'd certainly buy it.
