Greetings: The attached photo shows a cam cover I have, supposedly from a late '60s duetto. A proper 'dip" in the cover is there for the fabric plenum passing above, but there are two tabs on the front to secure it to the block, as seen in later heads. The accompanying head has the square mark of a 1600, but no front bolt bosses.

I had planned to use this to put a "correct" valve cover on my Duetto (in place of my crinkle-coated red one) temporarily for show to appease the correctness gods. But this would need to be modified a bit.

Is there actually a head/cover set that this cover is appropriate for? Meantime, I need another used valve cover.

Those tabs appeared some time around 66-67 and were on the 1600 GT Veloce, series 1 1750 gtv, 1750 round tail, 1300 stepfront etc so would be correct for any of those heads. The tabless head you have would be Ti, early Super, Sprint GT or 1600 Duetto I would think.
