I am trying to replace my front sway bar end link on the passenger side. In the picture below, it seems the lower connection on the replacement end link (right) needs to screw into the location of the ball connector on the old end link (left).

Can anyone suggest how to remove the ball connector on the old end link? It has a 19 mm rounded square nut, so I can't get a socket on it. I can't get enough leverage using a box wrench.

Got it off! Who knew an 18 in heavy duty pipe wrench could be such a handy tool for Alfa repairs?
