Hi all,

I have had tons of issues trying to get my headlight correct for my 750.

The PO had cobbled together bits and pieces from who know where, yet somehow made them hold together. The more I dig into it, the more I find that I have to find. I don't know if I should be p1$$ed or impressed with his abilities.

Anyway, I was able to get a proper bucket and a couple of what I call "cups" for my headlights, which I thought would make them complete. Upon assembly I found that my current headlight retaining rings do not match the correct "cups." Ugh.

Here is a picture of the old "cups" and rings. A little research makes me think that these are for a later Berlina/GTV.

Confirm?

Also, I am in great need of correct headlight retaining rings. If anyone can spare one or both, I am a legit buyer.

Thanks,

Jon

part #'s

Maybe including part numbers would help. Both cup and ring clearly have Carrello stamped on them.

retaining ring: 00.522.017
"cup": 00.522.021 (maybe 321)

Jon, this is for a 63 Spider?
Well, I am not sure what the current rings and cups are for. They don't belong with the 750 buckets and trim rings, that's for sure.

I have a '58 normale spider that I am trying to make right.

Cheers,
Jon
