This slotted metal "shim" fell onto the footwell floor when I was disconnecting my 115-GTV steering column assembly. My pre-teardown photos didn't reveal it. This board is great at identifying obscure parts. Any guesses?
It's a shim that goes either left or right between the steering column and the top bolt slot at the bracket. the bracket is a little too wide to allow the column to enter the car without tension, and the shim goes where you end up with room for it..
Don't know how to explain it more clear...
