Does anyone have a working toggle (two speed) switch for the heater fan. I think my is bad. It works periodically.
I've removed it from the console and cleaned the contacts. It looks fine but fan only goes no occasionally.
I believe that the fan itself it good since when it runs it runs steadily.

The two speeds are obtained by running power either directly to the fan motor or through a resistor (located next to the fan motor). There are three connections for the fan motor - I think towards the left side of the heater unit. One connection is for ground (12V-), one for high speed, the other for low speed. To test if the issue is with the switch or someplace down stream I would jump 12V negative to the ground terminal (usually a black wire) and then 12V positive to each of the other terminals (one at a time). If the fan then runs properly it is likely the switch. But if the fan is erratic the switch may be fine and the issue is in the fan itself.
