testing the waters to see how much interest there is out there for the ac heater valve used on montreal, gtv6 and 105 ac cars.. the neck will be reproduced in aluminum for more durability..depending on the interest the price will fluctuate.
Without wishing to hijack the thread I don't think that can be correct. The end of the capillary tube is fitted to the front of the evaporator and can either open or close the heater tap to control the flow of coolant into the heater core. I never quite understood the value of this functionality.the capillary tubes causes the heater flap to slightly open bringing air inside in case the condenser get's too hot..
It keeps the evap from freezing up. The evap can get to cold which allows the condensation to freeze. The capillary opens the heater valve to let warm air in to keep the water from freezing. The capillary was later replaced by electronic thermistor’s controlled by a small circuit panel.i stand corrected.. the capillary heats up and causes the heater membrane to move slightly as too cool down the evaporator that also acts as a heater(different circuits part of the same unit)
