I realize the need to re-torque head bolts after major engine work/headwork, etc. and soon thereafter. However, are there recommended mileage intervals for re-torqueing from an ongoing maintenance standpoint, or do we let sleeping dogs lie unless the car become symptomatic? Same goes with valves. How often should one be checking valve clearances? In this case I'm referring to a 1750 motor with Centerline high lift cams and 9.5 compression pistons (if that makes a difference).
