OK so here is a new electrical glitch, (to go along with my dead speedo and fuel gauge)
I just returned from an early evening run with my S4Spider - paked in the garage and noticed that the brake lights were on , I jiggeled the brake pedal and they went off , I took the dog for a walk opened the garage and noticed the brake lights going on for 2 seconds then going off for about 30 seconds then back on again - had to disconnect the battery

has this ever happened to anyone - any ideas before I call an Exorcist ?

I'm trying to remember - does the Spider have a switch activated by the pedal? Get your head down in the footwell and look up. If I'm remembering correctly the switch is adjustable (I think by screwing it in/out so that the lights are off with the pedal up and comes on when the pedal is moved. But maybe it is misadjusted and comes on way too soon?

Or maybe the brake light switch has gone bad?
