So, the stepper motor replacement procedure on the earlier 12 valve cars is very well documented. Curious though - has anybody here done them on the later 24v models? Is the procedure much different?

Any steps posted in a thread somewhere?

Also, where can I purchase replacement parts currently?

Are there any tests (besides pushing buttons and listening for the stepper gear clicking sound), that I can perform first to verify that it IS the steppers!

Last question; are there relays / fuses somewhere for those steppers...?

There are three fuses in 24v models - two (F1 and F2) in small G2 aux fuse box and one (F12) in main G1 fuse box for A/C.

There is also 40A fuse bar on back of false firewall for blower motor.

If 94 model without passenger side air bag, the electrical connector for steppers is inside glove box under access panel with tire pressure decal on it. On 95 model connector has to be in same place I guess but I don't know how to access it with air bag in the way.
