Looking for the interior panel of the sunroof in my ‘86 GTV6. I don’t know what it’s called or the part number. Also looking for sunroof seal. Anyone?

If you are looking for the seal for the sunroof metal panel itself part # 60591951 has been mentioned before. i bought one from Bertelsbeck ( myalfagroup.com ). It is for Alfa 75 but it might work for the GTV6. Others have mentioned the one made for VW Jetta that also has the felt material. Hope this helps.
@alfalfa53 Did you install the 75 seal on your GTV6? It was made for a 75/164 but curious if anyone has installed in on a GTV6. OKP also carries that one.
The sunroofs were made by Karosseriwerke Weinsberg, usually just abbreviated KW, so yes, some VW seals might work as might Volvo 700/900 sunroof seals. These also made their way into Euro Escorts back in the day. KW is still in business but their website indicates you need to reach out to a dealer to order spare parts.
OKP has the earlier snakebite headliner kit, including one with a sunroof, but I don't know of anyone producing the fuzzy headliner. A good upholstery shop might be able to come up with something.

I am in the process of painting the car, so no i have not had the chance to put the seal on the sunroof. comparing it to my old worn out seal it looks about right but i am sure it won't be perfect like the factory when new. The one from MY Alfa Group is not expensive and i figured if i need to later on, i can also order the one from VW Jetta that looks pretty close. Cheers....

Interested to hear if your new 75 sunroof seal fits properly on the gtv6. Please update us when you get it on there. I may buy one as well if it seals nicely.

I am waiting for the car to be painted before i install the sunroof seal, and the car needs to have some rust repair on the bottom of the windshield before painting. Not many modern body shops know how to do rust repair or interested. They make a lot more money doing insurance work than work on these old cars.
