Indeed All - I discovered that my newly purchased GTV6 with Milano TA had short(GTV6) axles matched short (Milano) (offsets); made for an interesting episode when cornering, and the axle splines pulled all the way out of the hub. Another coast to the highway shoulder and order up a $125 tow. Im surprised it worked at all.

Yes, I had experts (here and established used parts outlets) tell me the axles are the same length despite one look at the spacer heights (thicknesses) and knowing its the same DiDeion... ah well...it took laying the respective axles side by side to convince them there is an inch +/- difference...

Yes realize the c-clip and washer are a mess!

Ciao to all; now to sort out why the engine runs so lean...aside from the obvious that ALL hose clamps were loose 2-3+ turns of the screw on BOTH air and fuel lines.
