Back when I was driving the GTV6 on the road, I removed the catalytic converter assembly and removed all the internals,( catatylic honeycomb, internal bracing and stainless screen padding) without cutting unit open.
No more back pressure, and makes a great collector. It was bead blasted, acid dipped (removes corrosion) and coated in & out with Ospho (phosphoric acid) to prevent rust. Went to headers & never used.
After 6 years storage still looks new.
all O2 sensor & temp probe inlets and tubes are perfect for reatachment.
Obviously it is undetectable from a real unit, but it is for offroad use only.....
Lots of work went into it. First $150.00 takes it.
