Yes, after more than 20 years of ownership, I finally forgot to put the gas cap back on the car after fueling, and the cap no longer exists on this mortal coil.

Does anyone have another? I don't need a functioning key.

As a temporary fix, you can find one that works at a local car parts store. Stant makes a screw on design that fits, but with no locking feature. It's small, basic, and looks out of place on the car. One piece metal painted black. But for the $12 it serves the purpose. And always good to have an extra in the glove box for when it's needed.

Used but like new with the key

Last resort, you can call some of the few Alfa mechanics in the country and see if they have an old one on the shelf. I would start with Auto Veloce, North Miami, Fla. 305=891=9556. Someone out there has one. And if you car, buy two. You never know. On the BB there should be a list of remaining mechanics around the country.
